Our strategy for the future

Our commitment is to creating value to be shared, in a virtuous circularity, with all stakeholders. We want to have a positive impact on reality to preserve not only our future, but also that of the communities and territories where we operate.

We have developed and adopt an integrated business model that guarantees we will continue on our growth patch by creating value to share. A daily challenge in which – between 2022 and 2028 – we planned € 8.6 billion of investments.

In our 2022-2028 Strategic Plan, we have earmarked € 4.5 billion to the upgrade/repurposing of Italian distribution networks, the digitisation of assets/ processes, the development of low-carbon gas integration initiatives, and the methanisation process in Sardinia, with the completion of digital native networks. 

Through our projects, we support the energy transition and the birth of a decarbonised economy to achieve the Net-Zero goals by 2050 as established by the European Union in the context of the Green Deal and the REPowerEU plan.
